Important: After turning into Oakhurst Lane, pass all the houses, then take the RIGHT fork signed Oakhurst Cottage/Oakhurst Barn (also marked private) at the next fork, bear right and then fork right again following this track all the way until you come to another main gate, go through the gate and enter the yard through the second gate on your left.
Information:
1. There is very little mobile signal at this location.
2. There are no facilities or loo on site, please bring water, car covers, coats, etc. and anything you might need to keep you and your dog safe and comfortable.
3. The ground is uneven and there is water, please wear sturdy footwear and suitable clothing for the weather.
4. Dogs should be kept on lead until otherwise instructed as there is a public footpath where we park.
5. Please bring plenty of high-value food rewards and toys, lead, whistle, clicker.
6. Bring also a dummy vest/bag and a few retrieve articles.

Follow Ryden Lane from the village drive past Whitehouse Farm on the left, through the national speed limit sign on the right hand side, then take the first track on the left. You will see a yellow and white sign on the entrance saying BAA car park access. Drive down this track to the end and the entrance to the centre is on the right hand side. Drive through the gates (these maybe closed – please close them again if they are) and park in the car park outside the centre building on the right.

Neither dog nor handler to have won an award at a field trial or been placed in a KC GWT with the exception of Puppy/Special Puppy and ND/NH other than 1st.
* Unclassified: An unclassified test is one that does not have a KC definition and consequently any award won cannot be used as qualification for a GWT with KC definitions (i.e.: Novice and Open). However, unclassified awards do count towards the entry criteria for other unclassified GWT classes held under KC rules and regulations.

This event is the Vale & West’s club fun day. Participants will get to take part in multiple scurries running throughout the morning. All participants will have one go on each scurry included as part of the entry fee, if you would like to have more than one entry, then you can do so at an additional cost of £2 per go. At 13:00 lunch will be provided for those who have selected and paid for that option, the raffle will be drawn, and prizes will be awarded.
The club will be running a raffle at this event, so any donations would be hugely appreciated.
